Interfaith Dinner

The interfaith dinner was set up by the Siks. There were people from all religions present. We ate on the floor, a fabulous vegetarian curry type meal. The Siks served us. After dinner we broke into groups. We were told to break into groups with people we didn't know or come with. My group had some Muslims and Catholics. The announcer would present a question, and then we would go around the circle and answer it. It was really cool. Let see, one of the questions was, "Right now in your life what is the most important aspect of your religion that affects you?" Ok that wasn't word for word because that is a poorly worded question, but you get the picture. We all went around and got to tell about our beliefs, and what was really great about it, was that instead of seeing all the differences, we got to see all the similarities. Brothers and Sisters all. It was real cool. Also cool is that the missionaries are coming to my house tonight to teach the first discussion to one of our friends.
